These Website Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Slime Social website and its online features.

The website is operated by Slime Time Events LLC, doing business as Slime Social (“Slime Social,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the website.

1. ABOUT SLIME SOCIAL

Slime Social provides mobile, guided slime-making and slime-play experiences for birthdays, private events, community events, and other approved occasions.

Available services, packages, participant counts, customization options, pricing, add-ons, service areas, and availability may change from time to time.

Information displayed on the website is intended to provide a general description of our services. The specific services included in an event are determined by the customer's booking confirmation, invoice, Event Services Agreement, and any written modifications accepted by Slime Social.

2. INQUIRIES DO NOT RESERVE AN EVENT DATE

Submitting an inquiry form, contacting Slime Social, discussing a date, receiving availability confirmation, receiving a quote, or receiving an invoice does not by itself reserve an event date or time.

An event is officially booked only after Slime Social receives the customer's accepted or signed Event Services Agreement and the required $150 booking retainer, unless Slime Social expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

Until the booking requirements are completed, Slime Social may accept another booking for the requested date or time.

3. EVENT BOOKINGS ARE GOVERNED BY A SEPARATE AGREEMENT

These Website Terms govern use of this website. They are not intended to replace the Slime Social Event Services Agreement used for booked events.

Event-specific matters, including payment deadlines, booking retainers, cancellations, rescheduling, participant counts, additional participant charges, weather, event setup, safety requirements, supervision, allergies and sensitivities, property protection, photography, refunds, and other event obligations, are governed by the Event Services Agreement, applicable invoice, booking confirmation, and other written documents associated with that event.

If these Website Terms conflict with a fully executed Event Services Agreement concerning a particular booked event, the Event Services Agreement will control with respect to that event.

4. PRICING AND AVAILABILITY

We make reasonable efforts to keep website descriptions and pricing accurate. However, pricing, packages, add-ons, service areas, promotions, and availability may be updated from time to time.

Displaying a date, package, price, or service on the website does not guarantee availability.

A quote or proposal may be subject to expiration or modification until the booking requirements have been completed.

5. PAYMENTS

Payments may be processed through Square or another payment processor selected by Slime Social.

Payment transactions may also be subject to the payment processor's terms and privacy practices.

The payment terms applicable to a booked event will be stated in the Event Services Agreement, invoice, booking confirmation, or other applicable written terms.

6. CHILDREN AND WEBSITE USE

Slime Social's services are designed for children's activities, but the business, inquiry, booking, payment, and contact portions of this website are intended for adults.

Parents, guardians, event hosts, and other responsible adults should submit inquiries and booking information.

Children under 13 should not submit personal information directly through the website or Slime Social's online forms.

Individuals under 18 should use booking or payment features only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.

7. SAFETY INFORMATION

Slime is a craft and sensory-play product and is not food.

Slime and related materials may include or come into contact with craft glue, slime activator, clay, pigments, colorants, fragrances, glitter, foam pieces, beads, charms, and other decorative materials.

Small charms, beads, toppings, foam pieces, and similar materials may present a choking hazard and should be kept away from children under three years old and from individuals likely to place small objects in their mouths.

Parents and guardians are responsible for considering a child's allergies, sensitivities, developmental needs, and ability to participate safely. Additional event-specific safety and supervision requirements may be included in the Event Services Agreement and parent/guardian participation forms.

8. PHOTOGRAPHS AND VIDEO

Photographs or videos displayed on the Slime Social website or social-media accounts may depict prior Slime Social events, products, setups, or participants for whom appropriate permission was obtained when required.

Booking an event or using this website does not by itself grant Slime Social permission to use identifiable photographs or videos of a customer's child or another person's child for marketing.

Photo and video permissions for identifiable minor participants are handled separately when applicable.

9. WEBSITE CONTENT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Unless otherwise indicated, the Slime Social name, branding, logos, graphics, website design, photographs owned by Slime Social, written content, service descriptions, activity concepts and materials created by Slime Social, and other original website content are owned by or licensed to Slime Social and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may view and use website content for personal, noncommercial purposes related to learning about or booking Slime Social services.

You may not copy, reproduce, republish, sell, distribute, modify, scrape, commercially exploit, or use Slime Social content or branding to represent another business without our prior written permission, except as otherwise permitted by law.

10. ACCEPTABLE WEBSITE USE

You agree not to use the website in a manner that is unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, abusive, disruptive, or designed to interfere with the website or another person's use of it.

You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to website systems, submit knowingly false or fraudulent booking information, transmit malicious software or code, impersonate another person, misuse forms or payment systems, or use the website to violate the rights of Slime Social or another person.

11. CUSTOMER-SUBMITTED INFORMATION

You are responsible for ensuring that information you provide to Slime Social is reasonably accurate and that you are authorized to provide it.

When submitting information concerning a child, you should be the child's parent or legal guardian or otherwise legally authorized to provide that information.

Submitting information through an inquiry form does not create an event-services contract unless and until the applicable booking requirements are completed.

12. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS

The website may use or link to third-party platforms or services, including website-hosting providers, online form providers, payment processors, social-media services, mapping services, or other third-party tools.

These services are operated independently from Slime Social and may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

Slime Social is not responsible for the operation, availability, content, security, or privacy practices of a third-party website or service except to the extent required by applicable law.

13. WEBSITE AVAILABILITY

We try to maintain an accurate and functioning website, but we do not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available.

We may modify, suspend, discontinue, update, or restrict portions of the website when reasonably necessary.

Temporary website problems do not modify or cancel an otherwise valid Event Services Agreement.

14. WEBSITE INFORMATION DISCLAIMER

We make reasonable efforts to present accurate and helpful information. However, general website content is provided for informational purposes and may not contain every term applicable to a particular event.

Photographs and examples are illustrative and do not guarantee that every event will have identical slime colors, decorations, toppings, charms, setup, inventory, equipment, or appearance.

Specific event obligations are determined by the applicable booking documents.

15. LIMITATION REGARDING WEBSITE USE

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Slime Social is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising solely from inability to access or use the website or from reliance on general website information.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

This section concerns use of the website and does not replace any liability, safety, or responsibility provisions contained in an applicable Event Services Agreement.

16. PRIVACY

Your use of the website is also subject to the Slime Social Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and handle personal information.

The Privacy Policy should be read together with these Terms.

17. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, disputes arising specifically from these Website Terms will be brought in an appropriate court serving Loudoun County, Virginia, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

18. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.

19. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Website Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our website, services, business practices, or legal requirements.

The Effective Date at the top of this page identifies the current version.

Changes to these Website Terms do not retroactively modify a previously executed Event Services Agreement unless the parties separately agree to that modification or applicable law provides otherwise.
